Jonathan Elliott

President

Jonathan R. Elliott has been chief executive officer of Sonop Software Corporation, a leading software solutions provider, since it was formed in June of 2006. Elliott, a native of Port Elizabeth, South Africa, received a bachelor’s of commerce degree with honors at the University of Port Elizabeth, now the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. He began his career at American Strategic Insurance as a junior programmer and later moved to E-Ins, where, as a software engineer, he was responsible for developing various insurance systems. After realizing an opportunity to provide computer systems to the business market, he left E-Ins, and Sonop Software was born. Elliott’s hard working, eager to please attitude has enabled him to propel Sonop Software towards higher standards in both computer software and customer service and reliability.

Director of IT Security

Mike Ring is passionate about Information Technology Security. Having experience with multiple flavors of Unix, Enterprise Oracle databases, large web applications, multi-Terabyte Storage Attached Network(SAN) design and maintenance. Since 2002 Ring has achieved the coveted CISSP certification, which has proved to be a huge asset for both his career and IT security here at Sonop Software.

Life at Sonop Software

At SS we try our best to allow our employees to be creative, giving them the flexibility to manage themselves in many circumstances. At SS we choose not to hide behind complicated phone systems to try and stop you from talking to someone who can actually help you.

A little over a year today, the first version of a little piece of software was released upon South Eastern Florida. Although the software can be used anywhere, SS decided to take on a market that it could easily manage, and gain a good reputation for service in the area.

At SS every decision is taken with our clients in mind. They are our number one concern, and as such their concerns are addressed as soon as is possible.
